MACON swimming pool heat exchangers are manufactured with the titanium tubes, high-strength plastic material shelled covers and are therefore suitable for use with chlorine water, seawater or therapeutic and spa pools. MACON heat exchangers will normally well outlast stainless steel or corrosion resistant cupro-nickel ones. Our units are very easy to maintain as both the end covers and tube stack can be removed easily for cleaning, this is unique to our design. MACON heat exchangers can be used where the swimming pool water is heated by a heat pump / boiler or by solar panels. Units suitable for use with pools up to 50kW or 170,000 BTU/h are supplied with mounting brackets as standard. MACON heat exchangers are also available with a thermostat pocket which enables a thermostat probe to be fitted into the end cover. This removes the need for the thermostat to be fitted into the pipe work.. The heat exchanger can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
